4. EVERYONE NEEDS TO TAKE A TWO WEEK BREAK after their last race of the season. Seriously. Your body needs it. And you need to learn how to have a life without running :)
5. The entire month of December-January is focused solely on getting strong aerobically (run 6 days a week) and in the weight-room (2 times per week). You can throw in 6-12 strides, two times a week if you want to do something speedy.
- If you would like to run some indoor races, see below. I can give you a few "tune-up" workouts; however, many of you want to race outdoor track through the end of June. I want to monitor your training intensity carefully through the winter, so you can be at your best mid-May or mid-June.
