State Meet
- Bus Leaves at 11:15
- Girls Run at 1:30
- Boys Run at 2:00
The UHSAA sent out an email saying that because Wasatch County has moved to the "High Transmission" category, they are currently waiting for clarification from the county to see if there will be any changes made to the state meet. I will post any updates to both the GroupMe and the website as soon as I get them, so please check back each day. Unfortunately because they are limiting the number of spectators at the event, we will not be able to have any team members outside of those who will be racing (and alternates) attend the race.
** Update **
From the UHSAA...
We are excited with the news that our event will be allowed to have fans (parents). Below will be information regarding the event and information that your parents will need.
1. Tickets
Fans are able to get ticket vouchers at https://gofan.co/app/school/UHSAA. Please select vouchers for the specific race you are attending to allow us for accurate contact tracing. Fans will need to present these vouchers at the venue entrance to gain access to the facility and to receive a wristband. All fans will be asked to leave the venue after the races and awards for their classification have concluded.
2. Student-Athlete Waiver Signature
All student-athletes who have been registered in the race will be responsible to have signed a waiver for Soldier Hollow Nordic Center at https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/w/58475c0e6a8f4/web/?auto_tag=FY18XCJRNATS. Also, all alternates will need to fill out this form. ATHLETES WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO RACE IF THEY HAVE NOT SIGNED THE WAIVER!
3. Streaming
The race is scheduled to be streamed on KSL.com. Due to the amount of walking at the venue to reach viewing areas and the colder temperatures forecasted for Thursday, we would advise any populations who struggle with the elements to consider streaming the event if the conditions will have an adverse effect on them.
Banquet
Our banquet will be on October 26th at 6PM in the Commons area. The administration has asked that parents sit with their athlete and that we only have one family per table. Athletes are free, but parents will be $10 per person. You can pay through the Olympus Webstore HERE.
Uniform Turn In
Any athlete that has not turned in their uniform by the banquet will have their account charged $40 for the top and $30 for the bottoms.
