We have been approved to start our summer practices beginning June 8th. Due to the new guidelines from both the UHSAA and Granite School District, we are needing to adjust how, when, and where we will be holding practices. Some of the changes include:
- Sign Acknowledgement of Risk form (see below)
- Maintain social distancing at all times
- Use hand sanitizer before and after practices
- Coaches will be keeping attendance at each practice for contact tracing
- All athletes must use their own water bottle
With the exception of June 8th, where we will meet at Olympus High (the girls under the south goal post and the boys on the south side of the track), below is the schedule that we will follow:
Monday and Friday- Sugarhouse Park
- Girls meet at 7:30 AM on the east side of Sugar Beet Pavilion
- Boys meet at 7:45 AM on the west side of Sugar Beet Pavilion
- Girls meet at 7:30 AM Under the south goal post
- Boys meet at 7:45 AM South side of track
- Girls meet at 7:30 AM
- Boys meet at 7:45 AM
- Girls meet at 8:00 AM in the northeast lot
- Boys meet at 8:15 AM in the northwest lot
With these changes, it will be very important to have the all runners show up ON TIME to practice each day.
Acknowledgement of Risk
As part of the new guidelines, and before any athlete can participate in practices, all athletes must sign an Acknowledgement of Risk form. In order to do this, you will need to create an account (or log in if you already have one) On Register My Athlete and complete the registration for Cross Country. All forms can be found through the link below. (The Acknowledgement of Risk form is the second form under the Consent for Emergency Care section.) You do not need to have the physical completed, or the fees paid right now, but will need to have those done the week of 8/3.

Team GroupMe
The Team has a GroupMe that we would like each athlete to join. It is managed by the coaches and is a place for us to give last minute reminders or changes. Please contact one of the coaches to be added.
