Today marks the final day of the summer mileage challenge. Everyone is expected to post. Athletes who posted in June and July will be eligible for mileage awards. I will be ordering more 300 and 500 mile club shirts on Saturday so please post by then. If you do not post I will not enter you to race at Murray next week. If you are new and haven't been keeping track, please post your best estimate. Everyone is expected to keep track of their mileage each day/week.
Post your time and number of loops from what is probably the hottest Craig's Cruisers in history.

Highland Results You can find results and a lot more information about your race on runnercard. I recommend you take the time to look at your splits for each mile and your placement graph. This gives insight onto how you paced your race and what areas of the race you need to work on. Highland Results I thought everyone did a great job yesterday. I was impressed with the way I saw everyone out cheering each other on and I saw a lot of you cheering while getting in your cool-downs together. Highlights for us as coaches were seeing all the new people race, the improvement for so many of you from last year, Emma Barnett grinding to victory in the sophomore race, seeing the varsity teams compete at a high level, and watching Ben Nichols kick to the finish like Usain Bolt. It was a great way to start the racing portion of our season but we have a lot of work ahead of us to achieve our goals this fall. I hope seeing everyone out their giving it their all inspired and motivated you for the challenge ahead of us! Wednesday Practice: Due to the district professional development conference lasting until 3:45, practice will be divided up on Wednesday. Athletes will meet at the following times. Athletes must attend practice Wednesday to receive their uniform in the team meeting. The team meeting will be in room 324. Meet on the track at the designated time for the pre-race run and core.

It is fun to get the season underway and to start seeing where everyone is at. Congratulations to those of you who have made improvements from previous years. Those of you who are first year runners showed a lot of toughness and I think you are ready for a great season. We do have some gaps between runners that we are going to need to work on filling. We also need to continue improving our pack running.
